There has been a change. A positive change. A change only I could bring about.
There is something refreshing in accepting those things in life that you cannot change. Something refreshing in embracing those "people and situations" that create, no contribute, to your life.
All the drama. All the laughter. All the tears.
It is for one purpose.............
TO LET YOU KNOW YOU ARE ALIVE AND LOVED!!
Each day I learn a little more about myself and my surroundings.
Firm feet are never guaranteed.
Slippery slopes are always around for your demise or testing.
The key is to be prepared mentally for anything and everything.
I am not trying to sound like a fortune cookie. I am not saying I have all the answers. I am just saying that with each day a new form of acceptence with myself broadens my horizons.
I am thankful for everything, everyone, and every breath my body inhales.

How wonderful to hear you express such great words, and to hear that you created this change within yourself. It couldn't have happened without your positive, strong, beautiful soul.
We all need to be reminded that we are ALIVE, that we are HUMAN, and yes it is true we ALL cry.
What would we be without these emotions, these feelings of joy and pain. I have to admit I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to follow along on your journey, and I hope - NO I PRAY that I have the personal invite to be a large part - if not the biggest part of the next 100 chapters in your life.
Rodney, I also am learning to expand myself, and open my heart to new and exciting things, without the fear of thinking I am losing something rather than seeigng what I am gaining - and my first and most important step, is to tell you, that you are the brightest light in my life, and I am a better person, just by having you stand next to me.

You have finally turned the corner. You have waited for this for a long time, it is time to give back and that is what you have said you have wanted. Remember, that not every day will turn out the way you might want it to or had planned for it to. And when that happens, try to find the silver lining in the day or at least make yourself a strong enough drink when you get home. Hint that is what I had to do on Wednesday.
