Hey all. Just wanted to drop a quick note to get everyone down to the Old Courthouse, Saturday, Noveber 15, 2008 at noon. A nationwide rally is being held in opposition of Prop 8 in California.
I have to confess. I am very excited and fired up about this rally. Posters have been made. Emails have been sent. My only hope is that we have a turnout to rival Barack's visit!

The protest was unbelievable!
I know if there were 10 poeple there - there had to be 1400.
I was there with my husband, Rodney, and several of my very close dear friends. We experienced this memorable day together... what else would have been better.
The honks, the screams of support, the never-ending feel of community, togetherness, friendships, the LOVE. Yes it was freaking cold out there, but worth every frozen toe, and it even got me a few extra hugs from my man.
Thank you Rodney, thank you friends thank you all for the experience and the reassuring love each and everyday.
Were queer, were here get used to it!
Remember... Equal rights are just that... EQUAL RIGHTS FOR EVERYONE!
