A hole in my heart has been opened even further! The lovely and hysterically funny Estelle "Sophia Patrillo" Getty passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.................I have a slew of memories watching the "Golden Girls". My mother was Sophia. I was always her Dorothy.

As in life, another passing. The Golden Girls, specifically Sofia, is like going home. I pray at my "older" age I am still surrounded by all my "golden girl" friends. I have many Blanches, TOO many Roses, and enough Dorothy's to populate an entire city!
Please take a moment today to think of everyone in your life who has put a smile on your face! That will be Estelle Getty's enduring blessing to the world!
